Ralph Radcliffe, 83, of Versailles passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born at Charlestown, West Virginia on December 2, 1925 the son of Forman and Hattie Wilfong Radcliffe. He was married to Anna Elliott Douglas on May 8, 2002 and she survives. Other survivors include one daughter Jeanne Cavalier of Virginia; three step-sons, Joe Douglas and Steve Douglas both of Cincinnati and Ronnie Douglas of China; two step-daughters, Diana Branam of Cincinnati and Kathy Hettesheimer of Lawrenceburg; 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and 6 step-great-grandchildren, and three sisters. Mr. Radcliffe was a Navy veteran of WWII. He attended the Butlerville Mennonite Church and was retired from CCC Trucking in Cincinnati where he worked as a forklift operator. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23 at 10am at the Butlerville Mennonite Church with Pastor Dale Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the North Lawn Memory Garden at Westerville, Ohio. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 9am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the church's food pantry in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
