Ralph W. Shelton Jr.

Ralph W. Shelton Jr., 77, Carrollton (formerly of Versailles) passed away Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Wesleyan Hall in Cincinnati. He was born in Jennings County, Indiana on November 21, 1927 the son of Ralph W. and Ada Beech Shelton. He was married to Wanda DeBurger on June 11, 1952 and she preceded him in death on September 4, 2001. His survivors include two sons Randy Shelton of Erlanger, Kentucky and Ricky Shelton of Carrollton, Kentucky; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters; Janice Houston of Cincinnati, Ohio and Gloria Jim of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Shelton also was preceded in death by one sister; Betty Ruth Parin. Mr. Shelton retired from Uniroyal Tire Company and was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW in Carrollton, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Ronnie Harman officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of services. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Christian Church.
