Rebecca J. (Becky) White

Rebecca J. (Becky) White, 46, of Versailles passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born at Madison on February 1, 1963 the daughter of Bill and Jeanie Friszell Moore. Survivors include one son Andy (Brittany) Hartley of Vincennes; grandson Carson Hartley; her father Bill Moore of Holton; 2 brothers Billey (Janelle) Moore of Versailles and Daniel Moore of Butlerville; 9 sisters, Laura (Ron) Prosser, Mary Sizemore, and Kim (James) Hoover all of Versailles, Francis McRoberts, Sharon Roark, and Crystal (David) Gresham all of North Vernon, Jennifer (Dave) Pennycuff and Cherry (Wayne) Pyatt both of Butlerville, and Sherry (Bob) Best of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother Frank. Ms. White was a 1981 graduate of South Ripley High School and a 1993 graduate of Ivy Tech. She had been employed with LMS Contracting in Madison and was currently employed as a bookkeeper for Dave O'Mara in North Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Tanglewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
