Rene Kay Holman

Rene Kay Holman, 56, of New Marion passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison. She was born at Osgood on March 24, 1949 the daughter of William and Geneva Burton Kendall. She was married to Lester Holman on June 24, 1970 and he survives. Other survivors include one son David Holman and his wife Shannon of Madison; six grandchildren; one brother Ray Doyle of Florida; one sister Rosella Hardy of Osgood. She was preceded in death by her step-father Alma Doyle and her sister Tamar Doyle. Mrs. Holman was a 1967 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School and was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Hanover College, Madison Wal-Mart, and Clifty Inn. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14th at 2pm at the West Fork Baptist Church near Rexville with Rev. David Blazier officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm and will also be held at the church. Memorials may be given to the West Fork Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home at Versailles.
