**Rhoda Davis**, 94, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Holton, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2004 at the Pine Knoll Assisted Living Center in Lawrenceburg. She was born at Sexton Creek in Clay County, Kentucky on January 10, 1910 the daughter of Marian and Sarah Jane Allen Baker. She was married to Calhoun Davis on August 21, 1933 and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2001. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and had also worked at the Delaney Wood Heel Factory in Versailles. Survivors include one son, Ronald Davis and his wife Susan of Lawrenceburg; one daughter Janice Winn of Miami Lakes, Florida; one grandson David Winn and his wife Traci of Miami Shores, Florida and one granddaughter Darcey Winn of Miami Lakes, Florida; one great-granddaughter Madison Winn; one sister Edith McIntosh of Fairfield, Ohio; three brothers Hiram Baker of Versailles, Edward Baker of Cincinnati, and Clayton Baker of Bloomington. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother David Baker and her sisters Sudie Reed and Thelma Dunn. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Richard McClure of the First Baptist Church of Dillsboro officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be Thursday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Dearborn County or the ABY of the First Baptist Church of Dillsboro in care of the funeral home.
