Rhonda J. Tunny

Rhonda J. Tunny, 57, of Seymour, formerly of Holton passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. She was born at Milan on August 18, 1957 the daughter of Travis and Janet Walsh Mack. She was married to Paul Tunny on January 17, 1976 and he survives. Other survivors include her parents Travis and Janet Mack of Holton; one son Brad Tunny of Salisbury, North Carolina; one daughter Kristi Schneider of Seymour; three grandchildren Braxton Tunny, Blake Schneider, and Brooklyn Schneider; one brother Kevin Mack of Holton. Mrs. Tunny was a 1975 graduate of South Ripley High School. She formerly served as the clerk-treasurer for the town of Holton and had also worked as a cook for South Ripley High School. Rhonda was a member of the Holton Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Mitch Harrell of the Hopewell Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Foundation or the Holton Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
