Rita Vanosdol

Rita Vanosdol, 47, of Madison passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Waters of Clifty Falls at Madison. She was born at Milan on March 16, 1964 the daughter of Albert and Rosemary Poling Vanosdol. Survivors include one sister Rhonda (Randy) Thieman of Cross Plains; one brother Rick Vanosdol of Versailles; nephews Brian (Lisa) Thieman of Versailles and Adam (Lauren) Thieman of El Paso, Texas; nieces Angie (Ben) Fagan of Laurel, Beth Thieman of Cross Plains, and Ashley Vanosdol of Versailles. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jeff Vanosdol. Rita was a 1982 graduate of Madison High School and was a member of the Cross Plains Baptist Church. She was a former employee of US Shoe in Madison and also Grote Industries. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8 at 11am at the Shelby Christian Church at Versailles with Minister Randy Thieman officiating. Burial in the Cross Plains Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Cross Plains Baptist Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
