Robert C. Hutter

Robert C. Hutter, 79, of Versailles passed away at 10:15am, Friday, November 27, 2020 at his home. He was born in Peru, Indiana on April 12, 1941 the son of Arthur and Pauline Bender Hutter. He was married to Lynne McIntosh on April 1, 2009 and she survives. Other survivors include one son Robert Hutter, Jr. of Versailles; one daughter Hannah Hutter of Versailles; one step-son Roger Adams of Versailles; 2 grandchildren; two brothers Richard (Luciel) Hutter of Benham, and Paul Hutter of Versailles; three sisters Gertrude Hutter and Clara Mae Goldschmidt of Ocala, Florida, and Marian McKittrick of Versailles. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Laura Irene Clodren and Pauline Amy Hutter, and his brother Arthur J. Hutter. Mr. Hutter was a 1960 graduate of Versailles High School. Bob was a longtime employee of Ripley Publishing in Versailles and retired from Campbell-Hausfeld in Harrison, Ohio. Bob was a long time member of the NRA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Harris Long of the First Baptist Church in Milan officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will also be on Tuesday beginning at 10am. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
