Robert F. Wallace

**Robert F. Wallace**, 73, of Elrod passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. He was born at Hamilton, Ohio on August 24, 1938 the son of Robert and Marian Innsprucker Wallace. He was married to Connie Craig Sparks on May 19, 1990 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Robert (Pam) Wallace of Lawrenceburg and Greg Wallace of Indianapolis; one daughter Marcia (Travis) Bowers of Lawton, Oklahoma; two step-sons Lonnie (Donna) Sparks of Dabney and Shawn (Vicky) Sparks of Clanton, Alabama; one step-daughter Michelle Sparks of North Vernon; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one brother Mark Wallace of Fairfield, Ohio; one sister Shirley Kyle of Juno, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Nancy Heis. Mr. Wallace retired in 1994 after 30 years with Monsanto as an electrician. Bob was a member of the Eagles Lodge at Aurora. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21 at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Dabney Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House or Rescue 69 in care of the funeral home.
