Roberta (Bobbie Jo) Bryant

Roberta (Bobbie Jo) Bryant, 67, of Versailles passed away at 4:15am Monday, December 8, 2014 at her home. She was born at Brookville on February 5, 1947 the daughter of Vearl and Francis Pfaff Hertel. She was married to Andy Bryant on April 10, 1982 and he survives. Other survivors include four daughters Andrea Carnahan (Kenneth) Smith of Friendship, Angie Carnahan (Tony) Rieger of Portland, Oregon, Carla Carnahan (Joshua) Davis of Dayton, Ohio, and Candy (Mark) Guenther of Liberty; six grandchildren Katie, Sophia, and Robert Guenther, Madelyn Smith, and Natalie and Ryan Rieger; one sister Michelle "Mickie" Page of Rossville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bobbie Jo was a 1965 graduate of Brookville High School and worked for 35 years for the administrative wing of River Valley Resources, retiring earlier this year. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and her hobbies included gardening and reading on the front porch. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10 from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Akers Friendship Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given to the Kings Daughters Hospice or the Akers Friendship Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
