Ronald W. "Ron" Duebber

**Ronald W. "Ron" Duebber, 61, of Cross Plains** passed away Thursday, August 24, 2006 at the Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. He was born at Ft. Myers, Florida on April 30, 1945 the son of Adolph and Lucinda Cottet Duebber. He was married to Mary Deller on August 27, 1966 and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Michelle Comarata and her husband Tony of Cincinnati, and Sharon (Beeper) Vickers and her husband Eric of Cross Plains; grandchildren Jenna and A. J. Comarata and Eric and Evan Vickers; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Duebber of North Bend, Ohio; one brother, Daniel Duebber and his wife Gail also of North Bend. Mr. Duebber was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a foreman for 31 years for the City of Cincinnati and recently served as building inspector for Ripley County. He was a member of the Versailles American Legion. Visitation will be Monday from 10am until 12pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Graveside services will follow at 12:30pm at the Salem Cemetery near Cross Plains with Bro. Randy Thieman of the Shelby Christian Church officiating. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
