Rosalie Baurley, 74, of New Marion passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her home. She was born near Friendship on November 24, 1937 the daughter of Denton and Doris Folsom Fischvogt. She was married to George Baurley on July 13, 1957 and he survives. Other survivors include three daughters Cindy (Ken) Williams and Janet Baurley both of Indianapolis, and Nancy (Bryan) Dyer of Trafalgar; grandchildren Alex Williams and Kari (Joe) Lammers both of Indianapolis; great-granddaughter Mya Rose Lammers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jerry Fischvogt. Mrs. Baurley was a 1955 graduate of Versailles High School. She was a former employee of CVS in Versailles and also Mainsource Bank. She also had worked as a receptionist for Dr. Libunao in Versailles and had served as a deputy in the Ripley County Recorder's office. Rosalie was a member of St. Magdalene Catholic Church in New Marion. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 24 at 11am at St. Magdalene Catholic Church with Father Frank Eckstein officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at North Madison. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home with Rosary services at 8pm. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the St. Magdalene Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
