Rosemary Vanosdol

Rosemary Vanosdol, 68, of Versailles, formerly of Canaan, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2005 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born at Milan on September 30, 1938 the daughter of Elmer and Edna Pettit Poling. She was married to Albert Vanosdol and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Thieman and her husband Randy of Cross Plains and Rita Vanosdol of Madison; one son Rick Vanosdol of Versailles; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Sharon Sawyer of Elrod and Jean Sawyer of Hamilton, Ohio. Mrs. Vanosdol was a 1955 graduate of Vevay High School and was a 48 year employee of US Shoe in Vevay. She was a member of the Cross Plains Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, November 28 at 11am at the Cross Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Dean officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 6pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
