Russell L. Brashear

Russell L. Brashear, 60, of Dabney passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. He was born in Cincinnati on June 22, 1962, the son of Gus and Carol Mechler Brashear. Survivors include his mother Carol; two sons Austin (Jessica) Brashear and Kevin Brashear both of Cincinnati; one sister Kimberly Whaley of Cincinnati; three nieces and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Gus Brashear, Jr. Russell was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 11am at the Dabney Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
