Ruth Hey

**Ruth Hey**, 85, of Titusville, Florida passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at her home. She was born near Rexville on June 8, 1924 the daughter of Verne and Odetta Kirk Suter. She was married to Wayne Hey on March 4, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2009. Survivors include one daughter Myra (Ron) Wamsley of Greenfield; three sons Verne Giltner of Indianapolis, Jerry Hey of Titusville, and Brian Hey of Carriere, Mississippi; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one brother Bernard (Martha) Suter of Indianapolis; two sisters Dalene Vestal of Greenfield and Clarice Mason of Melbourne, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Shane Howard. Mrs. Hey was a 1942 graduate of New Marion High School. She was a 25 year employee of Western Electric in Indianapolis and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Titusville. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Funeral services will be held Friday, August at 12pm at the Shelby Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Gideons in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
