Ruth R. Napier

Ruth R. Napier, 83, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Milton, Indiana on June 19, 1920, the daughter of Ernest and Lena Berry Moore. She was married to Estille Napier and he preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. Napier was a homemaker and had formerly worked for New Horizons. Survivors include three sons; Dennis Napier of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Ricky Napier of Norwood, Ohio, and Willie Napier of Versailles; five daughters, Sondra Goble of Cambridge City, Nancy Daugherty and Diane Atkinson both of Versailles, Cheryl Rogers of Greensburg, and Betty Foster of Vevay; one brother Paul Moore of Centerville and one sister Doris Hoover of Florida and also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Linda Kay Dismore, and five brothers, Bob, Abe, Cecil, John, and Ceber Moore. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 24 at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be Friday, April 23 from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
