Ruth Helen Risk

Ruth Helen Risk, 90, of Versailles passed away at 11:30am, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Aspen Health Campus in Greensburg. She was born at Holton on October 23, 1926 the daughter of John and Olive Colbert Fields. She was married to Glenn Risk on September 11, 1951 and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Norman, Charles, and John Fields, and her sisters Mary Walker, Wilma Gault, and Georgia Robb. Mrs. Risk was a 1944 graduate of Holton High School. She was a homemaker and had formerly worked as an Underwriter Claims Adjuster. Helen was a member of the Do-A-Lot Home Ec club and the Ripley County Red Hatters. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 8 at 3pm at the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Holton Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
