Ryan Alan Stevenson

Ryan Alan Stevenson, 30, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Fresno, California on October 13, 1976 the son of Chuck and Barbara Stratton Stevenson. Survivors include his parents of Indianapolis; brothers Craig Stevenson and Michael Stevenson; sister Michele Countryman and her husband Mark; nieces Ruby Countryman, Eleanor Countryman, and Lauren Stevenson, and nephew Wesley Countryman all of Indianapolis; paternal grandmother Martha Stevenson of Half Moon Valley, California; maternal step-grandmother Carol Stratton of Holton. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Chuck Stevenson, Sr., and his maternal grandparents Leslie and Ruby Stratton. Mr. Stevenson was a 1995 graduate of Lawrence Central High School and was currently working on a nursing degree at IUPUI. He was employed with Moe and Johnnys in Broad Ripple. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16 at 1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Charles Cole officiating. Visitation will be from 11am until time of services. There will also be visitation Friday from 5pm to 8pm at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10 St in Indianapolis. Burial will be in the Dabney Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (C.R.O.W.) at Sanibel Island, Florida in care of the funeral home.
