Scott W. Graves

Scott W. Graves, 49, of Versailles passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at his home. He was born at Greensburg on May 20, 1963 the son of Marvin and Ruth McIntosh Graves. Survivors include two brothers Dale Graves of Erlanger, Kentucky and Keith (Ann) Graves of Delaware; three sisters Cynthia (Kenny) Beeman of Holton, Sherry Denton of Newberry, and Robin Beeman of Nebraska, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Graves was a 1981 graduate of South Ripley High School and served in the Navy from 1984 to 1988. Scott worked as a machine operator for NVIS in North Vernon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. David Shivers of the Hopewell Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Memorial Garden near Madison. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
