Scott Allen Manis

Scott Allen Manis, Sr., 50, of Osgood passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home. He was born at Covington, Kentucky on September 11, 1966 the son of Donzell and Betty Huff Manis. Survivors include his companion and wife of 25 years Molly Clift Manis; one son Scott (Felisha Gregory) Manis, Jr. of Osgood and two daughters Kelly Manis of Newport, Kentucky and Chrystal (Brad Yeager) Bushorn of Batesville; 4 grandchildren Elaney McGuire, Evan Yeager, Noelin Manis, and Novah Eaton; two sisters Karla (Greg) Campbell of Aurora and Donna (Mitch) Davis of Milan; two brothers Troy (Kim) Manis of Moores Hill and Donny Manis of Milan. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter Ella Rose McGuire. Mr. Manis attended South Dearborn High School with the class of 1985 and graduated from the Greensburg Christian Academy. Scott was a boilermaker and a member of Local 374. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and camping and he had developed a talent in forging steel and metal. His biggest talent though was joking and making people laugh. Scott also enjoyed doting on his four grandchildren. Funeral services for Scott will be held on Friday, December 9th at 1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Mark Vice of the New Point Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be Friday from 11am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
