Sherrill K. Borders

**Sherrill K. Borders**, 67, of Benham passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his home. He was born near Cross Plains on August 3, 1939 the son of Willard and Loretta Pelsor Borders. He was married to Shirley Roth on March 21, 1960 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, David Borders and his wife Mary Ann of Versailles and Brian Borders of Madison; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Darren and Steven, his brother Larry Borders, and his sisters Gayla Kieffer and Joy Brady. Mr. Borders was self-employed in construction and had been employed with Canaan Water Utilities. He was a member of the Versailles Church of Christ and was an avid coon hunter. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19th at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Versailles Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
