Shirley E. Rinear-Evans

**Shirley E. Rinear-Evans**, 74, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the Ripley Crossing in Milan. She was born in Cincinnati on August 27, 1934 the daughter of Walter and Thelma Trouts Stevens and was raised by Peggy Leonard. Survivors include one daughter Pamela (Barry) Kermeen of Columbia, Kentucky; four sons William (Linda) Rinear of Cincinnati, Steven (Nilda) Rinear of Indian Springs, Ohio, Scott (Jennifer) Rinear of Osgood, and Kevin (Jodi) Rinear of Versailles; one step-son Gary (Shari) Evans of Cincinnati; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Scarbrough of Vero Beach, Florida and Gloria Wainscott of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Evans and her parents. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Washington Baptist Church in Elrod and had worked as a communications operator for Providence Hospital in Cincinnati. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 1 at 11am at the Washington Baptist Church in Elrod with Rev. Bruce Fitzsimmons officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donors choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
