Sue C. Myers, 67, of Milan passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at her home. She was born in Cincinnati on August 20, 1942 the daughter of Roy and Elizabeth Begley Adkins. Survivors include three sons Wayne (Judy) Evans, David Myers and his companion Alice Jackson, and Jack Myers all of Milan; four daughters Tina McKeown, Tonya (Chris) Glacken, Mary Smith, and LaVonne (Jamie) Craft all of Milan; 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons; five brothers Houston Walker of Texas, John Walker of Oklahoma, Frank Walker and Chester Walker both of Versailles, and Donald Bowman of Kentucky; one sister Elizabeth Albin of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Marion Adkins, Raymond Adkins, Tim Hageman, and Roy Albin, and her sisters Sylvia Asher and Elvira Kilgore. Ms. Myers was a 34-year employee of Hill-Rom where she worked as a cycle counter, retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Milan American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Walter Begley officiating. Burial will be in the Craven Cemetery at Milan. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to St. Judes in care of the funeral home.
