Sue Ellen Williams Rice

Sue Ellen Williams Rice, 47, of Cleves, Ohio, formerly of Holton passed away Friday, June 18, 2004 at her residence. She was born at Batesville on April 17, 1957 the daughter of Gerald and Carolyn Schlotman Williams. Ms. Rice attended Holton Elementary School and was a 1975 graduate of South Ripley High School. She was a homemaker and had worked in restaurant management for Pizza Hut and Kentucky Fried Chicken and was a member of the Union Flat Rock Baptist Church. Survivors include her parents Gerald and Carolyn Williams of Greensburg; three sons, Steven Rice and his wife Shannon of Versailles, David and Tracy Rice of Osgood, and Kyle Rice of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Austin, McKenzie, and Skyler Rice; paternal grandmother Martha Williams of Osgood, maternal grandmother Madge Schlotman of Holton; three brothers, Mark Williams of Edinburg, Steve Williams of Atlanta, and Andy Williams of Greensburg; two sisters, Beth Hewitt of Batesville and Lisa Granger of Greensburg. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2004 at 2pm at the Union Flat Rock Baptist Church near Osgood with Rev. Carolyn Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of services. Memorials may be made to Ms. Rice's grandchildren in care of the funeral home. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home of Versailles is in charge of arrangements.
