Susan J. Collins

Susan J. Collins, 81, of Versailles passed away at 3:30am, Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born near Oolitic in Lawrence County on January 30, 1938 the daughter of Martin and Frances Bugh Decker. She was married to Jimmy Collins on November 2, 1974 and he survives. Other survivors include three sons Don Martin (Patricia) Lee, and John (Colyn) York both of Edinburgh, and William Timothy Collins of Osgood; one daughter Frances York of Versailles; 6 grandchildren; one sister Jan Bias of Reddington. She was preceded in death by her daughter April Miller, her son Jay Daniel York, and her grandchildren Larry Thomas and Melissa Graham. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker. Her wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
