**Sylvia L. Asher**, 60, of Louisville passed away Monday, July 04, 2005 at the Norton Southwest Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Cincinnati on July 20, 1944 the daughter of Roy and Elizabeth Begley Adkins. Ms. Asher is survived by her fiancee Johnny Lomax; four daughters: Betsy Asher Faulkner and her husband Larry (Shorty) of Rexville, Joyce Box and her fiancée James Seal of New Washington, Marsha Davis and her husband Norman of Chelsa, and Robyn Adcock and her husband Ken of Taylorsville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Carol Myers of Milan and Betty Albin of Colorado Springs; five brothers, Houston Walker of Hebron, Kentucky, Chester Walker of Rexville, John Walker of Oklahoma City, Frank Walker of Versailles, and Donald Bowman of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elvira Kilgore, and her brother Tim Hagemann. Ms. Asher was a grill cook at Mike Linning's Restaurant in Louisville and was a member of the Shelby Christian Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8 at 10am at the Shelby Christian Church with Randy Thieman officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7 from 3pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
