Tom Truesdel

**Tom Truesdel**, 64, of Osgood passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Veteran's Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born at Madison on June 18, 1947 the son of Delbert and Edith Foster Truesdel. He was married to Nancy Peace on June 12, 1970 and she survives. Other survivors include one son Russell Truesdel of Osgood; two daughters Jennifer Truesdel of North Vernon and Beth Ann (Alan) Handlon of Bedford, Kentucky; grandchildren Alexander and Elizabeth Handlon, and Alexis Truesdel; one sister Bonnie McIntosh of Versailles; also his father and mother-in-law Russell and Ethel Peace of Osgood. Mr. Truesdel was a 1966 graduate of New Marion High School and worked for 37 years at Delta Faucet in Greensburg, retiring in 2009. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War having served on the USS Saratoga and received the National Defense Service Medal. Tom was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Versailles. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Carter Corbrey officiating. Burial will be in the New Marion Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Versailles American Legion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the First Southern Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
