Virginia Collins

Virginia Collins, 83, of Madison formerly of Versailles passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. She was born at Parnell, Kentucky on February 2, 1930 the daughter of Powers and Leslie McGuire. She was married to Jesse Mains and he precedes her in death. Survivors include one son Danny (Betty) Mains of Versailles; two daughters Retha (Harry) Bishofberger of Madison and Penny (Roy) Collins of Butlerville; twelve grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; three sisters Audrey Isner, Velma Dobson, Helen Commer; two brothers Vesco and Earl McGuire all of Monticello, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church at Negangards Corner. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, at 2pm at the West Fork Baptist Cemetery with Karen Reynolds of the West Fork Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 1pm till the time of service.
