Wanda Smith

Wanda Smith, 54, of North Vernon passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon. She was born in Cincinnati on September 24, 1955 the daughter of John Sr. and Doris Edwards Humphries. She was married to Phillip Smith, Jr. on December 10, 1996 and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter Leah Smith of Cincinnati and one son Justin at home; one brother John Humphries, Jr. of Goshen, Ohio; five sisters Stacey Dabe, Jennifer Simmons, Deborah Harris, and Marlena Humphries all of Cincinnati and Iris St. Clair of Orlando, Florida; 5 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11am at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association, the Cancer Society, or the Mercy Rescue of Jennings County in care of the funeral home.
