Wayne C. Hey

Wayne C. Hey, 93, of Titusville, Florida passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 at his home. He was born in Indianapolis on November 13, 1915 the son of Valentine and Louise Hey. He was married to Ruth Suter on March 4, 1951 and she survives. Other survivors include his children Jerry Hey of Titusville, Florida, Brian (Rachel) Hey of Carriere, Mississippi, Sandra (Kenneth) Stiles of Green of Indianapolis, Verne Giltner of Indianapolis, and Myra (Ron) Wamsley of Greenfield; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother Maurice (Lucille) Hey of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Lorraine and Harriett, and his brothers Woodrow, Charles, and Robert. Mr. Hey had worked as a machinist for Allison in Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Friday, April at 12pm at the Shelby Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am Friday until time of services at the church. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of arrangements.
