Wess Lovins

Wess Lovins, 31, of Milan passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 as the result of an automobile accident near Elrod. He was born at Lawrenceburg on March 27, 1980 the son of Jim and Malena Knowlton Lovins. Survivors include his parents of Milan, his daughters Alexis and Savanah at home; brother Justin (Samantha) Lovins of Appomattox, Virginia; maternal grandmother Mrs. Thelma Knowlton of Milan; nephew Tristan, and nieces Gracie and Audrey Lovins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Henry and Sally Lovins and his maternal grandfather Walter Knowlton. Wess was a former employee of R. D. Wood Construction and also worked at Valeo in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home with Rev. David Shivers of the Hopewell Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the New Marion Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
