Will Clayton,
67, of Osgood
passed away at 6:30am, Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Cleves, Ohio
on November 6, 1951 the son of Cecil R. and Margaret Lockridge
Clayton.
Survivors include one son William R. (Tara) Clayton of Holly
Pond, Alabama; one
daughter Sally Clayton of Madison; several grandchildren;
three brothers Joe
(Vickie) Clayton, and Paul (Sandra) Clayton both of Holton,
and Tim (Kathy)
Clayton of Commiskey; one sister Ruth (Clarence) Hill of
Dillsboro; also his
brother-in-law James Hall of North Vernon, and his best friend
Ron (Becky)
Sutton of Holton.
He was preceded in
death by his son Justin, his parents, and his sister Barbara
Hall. Mr. Clayton
served in the United States Marine Corps from January of 1968
until 1971. He
worked as a welder and ranch foreman at the Triple S Ranch in
North Vernon and enjoyed rabbit hunting and was an avid
fisherman.
Will was a
member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Osgood. Will's
wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held
on Sunday,
September 1
at 5pm at the Stratton-Karsteter
Funeral Home in Versailles with Bro.
Clarence Hill officiating. Visitation will begin at 4pm.
Memorials may be given
to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
