Willie E. Grigsby

Willie E. Grigsby, 70, of Versailles passed away at 10am, Friday, April 3, 2020 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born at home near Benham on August 22, 1949 the son of Ned and Geneva Stacey Grigsby. He was married to Janie Ruggles on May 15, 1973 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Michael Grigsby and Rodney Grigsby both of Versailles; two daughters Belinda and her companion Ernie Clift of Holton, and Amanda and her companion David Bonnlander of Milan; 7 grandchildren. Willie was one of 18 Grigsby children and was preceded in death by his parents. He had worked in construction and was employed as a mechanic with the Aurora Marina for 10 years. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Grigsby Cemetery in Delaware. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
