Wilma Metcalf

Wilma Metcalf, 78, of Versailles passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was born at Addyston, Ohio on January 6, 1931 the daughter of Elmer and Lillian Crouch McMurray. She was married to Keith Metcalf on January 20, 1954 and he preceded her in death on June 4, 1995. Survivors include one daughter Gina Foster of Arizona; five sisters Della (John) McAdams of Moores Hill, Shirley (Dan) Betler of Florida, Annette (Kenny) Collins of Delaware, Mary (Don) Triplett of Ohio, and Carolyn (Gary) DeWitt of Versailles; four brothers Doug McMurray, Melvin McMurray, and Elmer McMurray, Jr. all of Lawrenceburg, and Vernon Robert McMurray of Versailles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stanley, and her sisters Edith and Dolly. Mrs. Metcalf was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12 at 2pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Cravens Cemetery at Milan. Visitation will be Thursday from 1pm until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
