Wynona "Lue" Tuley

Wynona "Lue" Tuley, 67, of Versailles passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her home. She was born at Batesville on January 28, 1948 the daughter of Bernice and Challice Edens Pribble. She was married to Doug Tuley on June 28, 1983 and he survives. Other survivors include her mother Challice Bode of Holton; one son Chad Brown and his companion Trisha Moore of Osgood; one daughter Krista Terry of Maine; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; one brother Gayle Pribble of North Vernon; two sisters Christy (Ernie) Patrick of Versailles and Lana (David) Scoggins of Osgood. Mrs. Tuley was a homemaker and spent much of her time reaching out and ministering to those in need around her. She used the days of her illness as an opportunity to walk closer to her God. Lue was a member of the Versailles Church of Christ. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 9 at 7pm at the Versailles Church of Christ with Dale Day officiating. Visitation will begin at 6pm. Burial will follow at a later date at the Shelby Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Versailles Church of Christ or the Shelby Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles.
